Free personalized Santa Video 2008

Here your chance to make you child a star in a free Santa video. Just upload a photo of your child (head shots work the best), do a little editing and you Santa video is ready.

They have an option to send the video in an e-mail to loved ones and then another option to get free holiday music. You can decline either one of these options by clicking the "No Thanks" link located toward the top, right hand side of their website.

After you video is created and you watch it, they also have options again to send the video to family and friends in an e-mail, bookmark the page to watch anytime or a link to embed the video into a website.

Free Letters from Santa

I have a couple of new websites for you to get free letters from Santa Claus.

The first one is from the Best Santa's Letter website. I would like to give a big thank you to Michael Williams who posted a comment to our original Free Santa Letters post, letting me know about this service. It's greatly appreciated Michael!

Best Santa's Letter - this website has a bunch of different letter templates to choose from. They also have an option to create a free envelope for your Santa letter, including images for the envelope, a personal message from Santa, along with a Santa and postal stamp. Make sure you explore their website as they have some other fun stuff listed.

Santa Claus Museum - very easy form to fill in your children's information to create your Santa Letter. Three templates available.

The Holiday Spot - there are four different letter templates that you can print out. If you use a background image with their letters, make sure you are using Internet Explorer for a better print.

Elf Yourself 2008

Turn your children or your whole family into dancing elves! Back for 2008 is the very funny Elf Yourself. We had a great time with this last year and this year they have added a couple extra features.

Upload a photo of your child (or anyone you would like) to see them get transform into a dancing elf, complete with music and an optional message.

This year you get to upload up to five photos to have all your family members dance together or you can do each child one at a time. Just a little tip for you, it's easier to use photos with closeups of the head and face. After you upload your photo(s) you will get to adjust them and rotate them.

After you get your photos loaded you will then get to choose a dance. There are four dance choices for you to choose from (Disco, Country, Classic, and the Charleston).

That's it your ready to watch your video. You might want to register, this way it saves your videos and lets you e-mail them to friends and loved ones. You can also embed your videos into any websites you may own.

This year they are also offering products for you to purchase from your videos and an option to download your videos (small fee).

Fill in the Blanks Thanksgiving Story

Here's a wild and wacky Thanksgiving story that you children create by filling in the blanks. All they have to do is type in some keys words in the story and then click the "read" button to read about the family feast.

Your children will get a laugh out of the different stories they can create. You can also print the stories out and the children can read them out loud to family and friends on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Fun Activity

This is a wonderful game for the adults and the children on Thanksgiving. Everyone will write what they are thankful for on the Bing Note cards you can print out on your computer printer.

The cards will then be collected and put in a bowl, then everyone will get to pick one out and read it aloud. You then guess who wrote it.

A fun way to teach children what it means to be thankful!

"Let’s bring in the Thanksgiving spirit by having the kids share with everyone why they are thankful in a little game. The Bing Note Team has developed an activity called Thanksgiving Fun! This activity will keep everyone guessing, while at the same time, teach kids (and hey, even the adults can learn a lesson or 2) about what it means to be thankful. Macy's Letter to Santa

Here's a great way to give to charity while also letting your kids have some fun writing to Santa.

Get your crayons, pencil or pen. Write your letter and starting November 9th, bring it to Macy’s stamped and addressed to Santa At The North Pole. Make sure you drop it into their special Santa letterbox.

They will count them up, and for each letter received, they will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® up to $1,000,000. They will then bring them to the
Post Office for mailing to Santa.

Print out the Macy's Letter to Santa and help Macy's collect a million reasons to believe.

Thanksgiving Pinecone Turkey Craft

I stumbled across another fun turkey craft project for your children, this one from Kids Craft magazine.

This one is very easy to do and only requires a few materials to complete the project. You can also change materials (besides the pinecone) and let your kids use further creativity to complete their pinecone turkeys.

Thanksgiving Paper Turkey Model

Parent, your going to have to help the kids with this one. You can use colored paper for these or the kids can color them.

We have decided we are going to put them on the plates for Thanksgiving, marking the seating locations. We are also going to paste photos of our Thanksgiving guest over the turkeys face so everyone knows where they sit.

There are many other things you and your children can do with these, so use your imagination and get creative.

Thanksgiving Apron Craft

A neat idea that you can cherish for years to come. This video shows you a great starting point to make your own Thanksgiving apron.

The children's hand prints is a wonderful idea, then your kids can use there imaginations to add other objects to the apron. Just make sure you get the date on there so down the road, when you look back you know what year it was created.
