Irish Harp Coloring Pages

The harp is an ancient musical instrument used in Ireland for centuries. It is also a symbol of Ireland. Although it is not as recognizable as the shamrock, the harp is a widely used symbol. It appears on Irish coins, the presidential flag, state seals, uniforms, and official documents.



The Celtic harp also goes by the names folk harp, lever harp and Irish harp. The modern Irish harp stands about 4 feet high, and has 34 strings, as opposed to 47 strings on the modern orchestral harp.
