Children's and Infants' TYLENOL Recall
Just a heads up to those of you that might not have heard, McNeil Consumer Healthcare (the makers of TYLENOL®) is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Children's and Infants' TYLENOL® liquid products that were manufactured between April, 2008 and June, 2008.
"All products manufactured met internal specifications. However, the company is implementing this recall because during this period, an unused portion of one inactive ingredient did not meet all quality standards. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, it was decided to recall all Children's and Infants' TYLENOL® liquid products listed below, which were made during this time."

Free First Aid Kit
UPDATE: It seems as though this one is very limited. Here is an e-mail I received from them:
"While the online quiz is open to the public, first aid kits will only be mailed to addresses within the Avera service area (South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska.)"
They should have this posted on their website before you take the survey. My apologies to all.
This one is a little off topic as far as it being Fun for the children, but with children come accidents, so having a first aid kit on hand is a plus. Not to mention the fact that you can get this one for free by answering a short safety quiz.

We invite you to take our Safety IQ Quiz and receive a free first aid kit mailed to your home! Simply answer the questions below and fill in your name, address and e-mail address, then submit the quiz. The questions do not have to be answered correctly to receive your kit, but are here to help you consider issues of basic home safety. Once you've completed the quiz and filled in your information, your first aid kit will be mailed to your home within two weeks. If you have any questions, please contact us at 1-877-AT-AVERA."
I'm sure that these first aid kits are going to go very quickly, I've posted this on my Freebie Fanatics blog and I'm sure it is posted other places on the Internet, so you have to act fast.

China-made Elite Operations toys recalled
The toy recalls just keep coming with a recall on Chinese-made Elite Operations toys sold by Toys R US.
At the rate toys are being recalled, there will be none left by the time Christmas gets here. Not to mention that the toys that are left, many will be cautious to buy. Anyone that hears of any other recalls, please let me know so we can get the message out to all the readers of Fun 4 The Children. Thank you.

Banquet Food Recall
Hello everyone. I just learned about this myself and wanted to get the word out to those who might not be aware of the recall on Banquet brand pot pies possibly being linked to Salmonella bacteria.
Most persons that are infected with Salmonella develop nausea, diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.
