Gummibär: I Am A Gummy Bear DVD

Now, I must admit, I had seen a short YouTube clip of Gummibär before but didn't realize how huge his popularity has become (I'm probably the only one). When I was contacted to do a product view of the Gummibär: I Am A Gummy Bear DVD, I jumped at the chance to see what all the raves were about.

Kung Zhu Pets Review and Giveaway

Zhu Zhu Pets have added a new line of products called Kung Zhu Pets, and thanks to a group called Mom Select, which I am happy to be part of, I received a chance to try a box-full of Kung Zhu pets and accessories.



The Kung Zhu Pets are very similar to regular Zhu Zhu pets, but they have an edgier appearance from the previous cutesy Zhu Zhu Pets. These stealthy, ninja hamsters are outfitted with guns and swords and they are divided into 2 different versions, the Special Forces and the Ninja Warriors and are ready to do battle against each other.



The playsets come in a wide variety of themes and designs, with available accessories that include items like armor, warrior bases, tanks, training centers, battle arenas and more. The great part about the playsets is that you can mix and match adjoining pieces within sets to give your children tons of different options!

The Battle Arena is the focal point of our play area, the main stage for our Kung Zhu Pets battles. With the Battle Arena, you can attach it to other pieces using connectors that are included to make one of the biggest, baddest Kung Zhu Worlds around.



Overall, my family has enjoyed playing with the Kung Zhu Pets and accessories and would recommend them to all. To their cute little warrior noises, tricks such as wheelies and spin moves or battles in the arena, the Kung Zhu Pets are super fun and sure to be a hit with your children!

MatchMaster Games

Recently I had the pleasure of receiving an e-mail from Stacy Schlicht (from Rogers and Cowan) who asked me if I would like to do I review for a new children's game.

Now, I love doing reviews and learning about new products for our children, so I agreed and I'm very happy I did.

The game I was introduced to is called MatchMaster, which is associated with the David Beckham Acamedy. MatchMaster is a hand held, interactive soccer game with a unique twist.

The reason I say "unique twist" and the reason why this game is different from many other hand held games, is the fact that not only do your children get to have fun while playing the game, they get to learn about fitness, better health and nutrition.

Your children will have to guide and develop their players to eat, train and sleep correctly by scheduling these activities through their Daily Routine Planner. You receive lifeline points after each of the above routines to help develop the MatchMaster into a stronger machine.

There are a total of seven different interactive training games to choose from including: The Wall, Shuttles, Sprints, Dribble, Passing, Penalty Shoot Out and Free Kick. With continued practice by your child, better scores will come helping to increase their lifeline points.

Increase your lifeline points and your child is ready to play one of the four infra-red games against a mate to see who the ultimate MATCHMASTER champion will be!

My kids gave the MatchMaster a thorough workout and loved the games. I was surprised at how eager they were to make sure they scheduled their daily planners to challenge each other to have the stronger machine. The graphics are "cool" according to my son and the both loved the play of the head to head infra-red games. They had no problems playing the games as the controls are very easy.

Just for the record, my daughter wanted me to make sure I posted that she is the champion between herself and her brother.

MatchMaster is for children ages 8 and is available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide as of June 1, 2008. The cost of the game system is $19.96. Right now they have soccer and hockey available with potential for other sports in the future.

I give MatchMaster double thumbs up and would recommend it to all (for the record, Fun 4 The Children is not affiliated with MatchMaster). My kids had fun challenging each other and they learned some further responsibility with the scheduling. The game is also wonderful to take along on car rides!

KidZui - The Internet for Kids

Here's another new web browser for children to help protect them when they are online. KidZui, aims to let kids see only what the parents allow, and sends parents notices of what their children are looking at and searching for. With regular emails and online reports, you stay up-to-date with what your kids think is cool.

KidZui has over 500,000 websites, videos and pictures, and their content is reviewed by parents and teachers so your kids can surf independently.

One of the nice features of KidZui is the regular emails and online reports they send you to help stay up-to-date with what your kids think is cool. Your children will be able to find their regular websites and you will be able to adjust each of your kids’ age settings to ensure that KidZui is appropriate for their motor skills and reading ability. The KidZui browser is for kids age 3-12.
