Your Life in Comics: 100 things for Guys to Write and Draw Review and Giveaway

Your Life in Comics: 100 Things for Guys to Write and Draw, is the newest book from the very talented Bill Zimmerman. My family is a big fan of Mr Zimmerman and love his books and websites. If you have been a reader of Fun 4 The Children for some time, you've read other post in regards to Bill Zimmerman (Pocket Doodles For Kids and MakeBeliefsComix.com).

Bill's new book, Your Life in Comics, is geared for boys, ages 9-13. With this do-it-yourself, interactive comic book your boys can tell stories from their own life. Rather than provide the story, this interactive book allows them to decide what happens by using words and drawings of their creation.

The comics in the book cover topics such as school, family, friends, sports and other things that boys are interested in.Your Life in ComicsBy following the prompts in the book, your boys can fill in the talk and thought balloons to determine what the people say and think, or they can draw single or multi-panel cartoon comic strips of their own.

If you visit Bill Zimmerman's website, Bill'z Treasure Chest, you can see some of the pages form the book as well as download some pages for free, to print out on your computer.

I love sitting with my son and watching him go through Your Life in Comics, it encouraged him to think about his life and family as well as being VERY Creative with his words and drawings.

Another wonderful book from Bill Zimmerman, I definite A+ from all of us here at Fun 4 The Children! If you’ve got a son or grandson who loves comics or graphic novels, I encourage you to get them a copy of Your Life in Comics: 100 things for Guys to Write and Draw.
