Lollipop Love Bouquet

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so why not have the kids put together a fun Lollipop Love Bouquet? This simple project is fun to do and makes a great gift for a teacher, grandparent or a special friend.

What You Need:

Lollipop Love Bouquet

~ a small recycled tin can such as one from a fruit-on-the-go, or a Tetley tea container.

~ Strip of decorative paper measured to fit around container

~ 6-8 craft sticks or wooden skewers

~ 1 Styrofoam ball

~ Heart stickers or foam cut-outs

~ Valentine's themed tissue paper

~ Lollipops (as many as you want to add)

~ glue/scissors

Instructions:

Lollipop Love Bouquet

~ Measure around container and cut a length of paper to fit. Glue (or tape) into place.

~ Cut Styrofoam ball and place into container (add and fill as necessary to give a good strong base).

~ If using Skewers, break in half and use one end to glue (or tape) Valentine stickers or cut-outs to. Repeat.

~ Stick Valentine skewers into Styrofoam inside of tin.

~ Add Lollipops

~ Cut out squares of Valentine tissue paper (plain red, white and/or pink will also work). Scrunch these up between skewers and lollipops to create a ruffled effect.

Your finished! Enjoy!

Ahh.. I like the idea of having the kids make their own "love bouquet." I'm not very crafty myself, but I think the kids will really love it.
